Seven quick checks

AllChinaBuy Spreadsheet Checklist Before Saving a Find

Use this checklist before you save another product. One point for each “yes” is enough to show whether the row is ready, needs more work or should be removed.

Q
What to check

Look at the category, photos, sizing, price, likely shipping weight, description and your reason for keeping the item. A score below four means too many important details are still missing.

The seven-point checklist

Give one point for every honest “yes”

  • Is this the type of item I meant to compare?
  • Do the photos show the details that matter?
  • Are sizing or measurements clear enough?
  • Have I compared the price with similar items?
  • Could packed weight change the value?
  • Does the description say more than “best” or “popular”?
  • Can I explain why I want to keep this row?

Score your row

Use the result as a filter

ScoreDecision
6–7Keep on the shortlist
4–5Check the missing details
2–3Probably remove
0–1Remove for now

A high score only means the row is easier to compare. It is not a guarantee about the product or seller.

QC photos by category

The useful photo depends on the item

An AllChinaBuy quality check should answer product-specific questions. More photos are not automatically better if every image repeats the same angle.

Shoes and sneakers

Look for both sides, top view, heel, outsole, toe area, interior label and a size reference when available.

Hoodies, shirts and jackets

Front, back, fabric close-up, print or embroidery detail, cuffs, closures and measurements matter.

Bags and accessories

Check shape, corners, seams, hardware, lining, fastening, dimensions and how the item looks without staging.

Two example rows

What the score looks like in practice

Good row example · 6/7

Hoodie with measurements and useful views

The row shows the front, back and fabric, includes chest width and length, and can be compared with similar hoodies. Weight is still only an estimate, so it loses one point.

Why save: the measurements and fabric photos make comparison easier.

Weak row example · 2/7

“Popular jacket” with one cropped image

The category is clear and the link opens, but there is no lining view, size method, weight clue or comparable product. Popularity is the only reason given.

Decision: remove it for now. Opening it again will not fill the missing details.

One-sentence save rule

Before saving, finish this sentence:

“I am keeping this row because it shows ______ clearly.”

What to do next

Apply the same score to three comparable rows

Then review weight and safety before opening more links.
